Review

This criminally underrated Canadian horror flick is a great example of taking folk tales and lore, already perfected in cinema and then looking at it from a different angle. This film will fill you with joy, sadness, dread and relief. It's a campy film from the turn of the century and it fits in well with it, there's a great use of Nu-Metal played in this film and carries that grungy/ Marilyn Manson anti society trope with it.

It's can be seen as a bullying revenge film but is more focused on a young girl trying to save her older sister and what can happen to someone who despises society if they get their hands...or in this case claws into unstoppable power.

The film does mention a lot on growing up in those awkward teenage years when it comes to periods, sex, lust and parties. It can bring some awkward memories with it when you think back to that age you were, however that's just a nit pick.

This film has to be seen it is a true Horror Hidden Gem you can't miss it you ahve to  watch Ginger Snaps ASAP, right now in fact. What are you waiting for? The full moon? Go!
